Submerged Houses

There have been many reports of modern manmade objects, including cars, traffic signs, and even entire suburbs discovered deep in the ocean. Little evidence has been provided for these claims; however, it must be noted that photography in the deep sea remains mostly inaccessible, and many of these reports come from individuals without the budget or equipment to properly document their findings. Take, for example, this report from an anonymous individual online:

“I used to work as a deep-sea welder on offshore oil rigs and pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico. We used to see all kinds of crazy shit out there, like creatures that I swear to god no scientists have even heard of. The craziest thing I ever saw though - I was assigned to do emergency repairs on a pipeline on the seafloor. High-pressure jobs like this are usually the most difficult, but it was nothing I hadn't seen before. This time though, as I was down there, laser-focused on the job, some large object off to the side caught my eye. On closer inspection I realized what I was looking at was unmistakably a modern suburban home, its windows strangely intact, and its walls entangled in underwater foliage. I didn’t have much time or oxygen to investigate further, so I quickly completed the job and returned to the surface, and on the way up I could swear I saw more houses, as if the oil pipeline was passing right through a cul-de-sac at the bottom of the ocean. This wasn’t right next the coast either, it couldn’t be explained as the result of a hurricane or flood (that would’ve destroyed the houses anyway, and I swear, it was like these houses were built there, there was almost no damage to them at all). Nobody would believe my story when I got back to the surface. People love to chalk up these kinds of accounts to just being the results of some kind of high-pressure induced psychosis. I think that scientists ought to be taking our reports seriously, there is so much more out there in the sea than we even know to look for.”
